Ctrl+K Command Palette

The universal launcher — search, navigate, and create, all from the keyboard.

Overview

Press Ctrl + K anywhere in Mioru to open the Command Palette. From there you can:

• Fuzzy search all your notes by title or content
• Ask the AI questions that search across your notes
• Create new notes directly from the palette

Search Modes

📝 Fuzzy Search

Type any text to search across all your notes. Mioru uses the Vault Index for near-instant results, even in large vaults. Press Enter to open the best match.

🤖 AI-Powered Search

Add a ? at the end of your query to trigger AI-powered search:

what was the deadline for project alpha?

The AI reads your notes and answers the question directly in the palette — no need to open individual files.

➕ Create Note

Type a path to create a new note directly from the palette:

projects/new-idea.md

Gedankenspeicher in Search

Captured thoughts (Gedankenspeicher) are included in Ctrl+K search results. They appear with a Brain icon and a Gedankenspeicher badge so you can identify them at a glance — without overpowering your properly filed notes.

Tips

• Ctrl + K is your fastest navigation path — faster than clicking through the sidebar
• Search includes note content, not just titles
• The palette closes automatically when you open a note
